![]() ![]() Or you are just doomed at some point if enemy cv is half decent… that’s just the way it is. ![]() Or you basically have to deny your role and abandon your job to hide in the biggest cluster of teammates ships to deterre him, Actually, given how the flak system works currently, levels could actually make things simpler with regards to flak dodging by giving a third degree of movement. I barely even touch my CVs again since 8.0 (except for snow flakes and so on), it’s just not fun, simplicist (not necessarily easier to play, it’s not the same)Īnd way less immersive than previous RTS CV gameplay was back in the good old days. Actually, WG already kind of increased CV gameplay complexity in the past with the rocket change, even if it's far from enough in my opinion. While looking like a fighter formation during an air show (blue angels and stuffs like that), and supposingly being immersive and nice to look at, etc etc… just grotesque imo.īy far the worst idea WG has got in last 4years ! It’s more like I despise what CVs have become, same concerning immersion or « realism » (with all the gaming limits involved ofc), it has nothing more to do with the tactical perspective of naval air warfare you should have from the operation room of a cv… it’s just a dumb mix of a squadron leader job’s view, going back and forth from the cv to drop fantasy arcade payloads, Nevertheless, the new gameplay WG took 6 to 9 months to balance is just simplistic and dumb imo.Īnd without mention new comers like broken Nahkimov, Chkalov or the famous FDR, which remain way too strong with basically no weakness. RTS gameplay was waaay more interesting and required way more factors to take in count… it was a lot more « tactical » !īut I am mostly a strategy games player, more than tactical mmo, so I assume it’s normal I felt more attracted to the former gameplay from before 0.8.0 update… Perso i hate CVs since the rework of 8.0. ![]()
